Beer Quality Control Specialist (Forklift Experience Required)
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:45 PM
Position Overview:
Attention to detail is a must for this role! We are seeking a Beer Quality Control Specialist with proven forklift experience to ensure accuracy and quality within our warehouse operations. In this hands-on position, you will inspect and correct beer pallet inaccuracies, document errors, and notify the Area Manager. This role also includes inventory control, shipping/receiving duties, and upholding strict safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly inspect beer pallets and correct any inaccuracies

  • Guarantee all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable

  • Accurately record errors to monitor in-house picker performance

  • Complete daily equipment safety checks; report concerns promptly

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment

  • Perform additional duties and support the team as needed

Essential Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Forklift experience (required)

  • Professionalism in communication and conduct

  • Dependability and strong time management skills

  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a drive for results

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old

  • Forklift experience required

  • Minimum six months in a similar warehouse/quality control role preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills

  • Comfortable with inventory control systems and warehouse technology

Working Conditions:

  • Non-temperature controlled environment (exposure to heat, humidity, weather)

  • Occasional work in refrigerated areas

  • Moderate to loud noise; possible dust and equipment fumes

Physical Requirements:

  • Consistent, reliable attendance

  • Frequent operation of forklifts and pallet jacks

  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, and lifting 50–65 lbs
