Looking for an Artist / Typography Designer. We are a leading designer and supplier of framed art, mirrors, and wall décor, with products sold nationwide through major retailers, craft stores, and specialty partners.
Position Summary
The Artist / Typography Designer will support the Art Department by creating original artwork and imagery for product development. This role requires strong creative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Create original artwork and designs with guidance from the Art Director
Design across styles including typography, illustration, and painterly techniques
Perform photo retouching, recoloring, and color correction
Prepare and resize images for production
Maintain organized digital files and project records
Assist with occasional hand-painted embellishments for product samples
Qualifications
2+ years of professional design or art experience
Strong skills in digital art, typography, illustration, and layout
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Understanding of RGB vs. CMYK color spaces
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Reliable commute to Vernon, CA (full-time in office)
Pantone color system and home décor industry experience are a plus
Vernon, CA.
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $28–$32/hour
