Pay: $24–$28/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

Join a Growing Manufacturing Team
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to support quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring products meet established specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a laboratory or production setting, performing product testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production and safety initiatives.
This position works closely with production, environmental health and safety, and raw material teams to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement efforts.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Perform quality testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain accurate testing records, measurement reports, and quality documentation
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments according to established procedures
• Maintain QC samples, documentation cards, and product records
• Support product testing for new materials and recertification of existing products
• Assist in evaluating formulations and application performance as needed
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process
• Support investigation and resolution of customer quality concerns in coordination with internal teams
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners such as suppliers
• Utilize internal systems and software, including ERP platforms such as SAP, for reporting and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following Lean and 5S practices
• Identify safety concerns, process improvements, and workflow optimization opportunities
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and quality standards
• Willingness to complete hazardous waste training within six months of hire and annually thereafter
