Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Onsite
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4 PM – 2 AM
Required: Steel toe shoes
Preferred: High school diploma or GED
Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate various manufacturing equipment, following established routines and protocols to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with prescribed routines, including Block Press Manufacturing, Block Stacking, Manual Bag Lifting, Packing, Palletizing, and Forklift operation.
- Adjust processes or machinery as needed and follow direction accurately.
- Record and report production numbers to maintain accurate tracking of operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Demonstrate excellent punctuality and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions, including short correspondence and memos.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and individual tasks.
- Capability to record and verbalize detailed information accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and a strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for operational accuracy.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of and compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Understanding of production processes and machinery operation.
- Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
