Location: Valdosta, GA
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Pay Range: $22–$26/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM

Position Summary

Join our manufacturing team as a CNC Mill Operator! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to set up, operate, and maintain CNC Mills, producing high-precision components to strict specifications. This is a hands-on, temp-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Mill machinery.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specs.

  • Make machine offsets, tool changes, and minor programming edits as needed.

  • Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Maintain strict quality and productivity standards.

  • Clean and maintain equipment regularly.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

  • Work collaboratively with engineers and production staff to improve processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.

  • Machining certification a plus.

  • 2+ years of hands-on CNC Mill operating experience (Mazak, Haas, or similar).

  • Proficiency with G-code and CNC programming.

  • Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Strong math and mechanical aptitude.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to lift 50–60 lbs and stand throughout your shift.
