Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a General Utility Associate with a leading global manufacturer of transit packaging consumables, tools, and equipment, specializing in strapping, stretch wrapping, and protective packaging solutions.

Shift: 3-11pm (2nd Shift)
Employment Type: 3-month contract
Work Setup: 100% Onsite

What’s a typical day as a General Utility Associate? You will:
The General Utility Associate supports facility operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining production efficiency, contributing to quality assurance, and assisting with shipping and housekeeping. This role plays a key part in both production and logistics, fostering a safe and orderly work environment.

  • Material Management: Supply production lines with materials and packaging as per product specifications.

  • Production Support: Operate mixers/production lines. Transfer products to pallets (WIP/finished goods) and build pallets based on output.

  • Inventory Tracking: Accurately track produced inventory and document any downtime or disruptions.

  • Shipping and Receiving: Unload/load trucks, stage products in assigned areas, and ensure shipments are labeled correctly.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks (visually or with tools) and support ongoing quality initiatives as needed.

  • Housekeeping: Keep the workspace clean and organized, following the 6S process.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors to support facility operations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • General work experience in manufacturing or similar work environments preferred

  • Commitment to safety, following all safety protocols

  • Self-awareness—open to feedback and continuous improvement
