                                           Die Cutter Operator
                                   1st shift : 7am-3pm
                                   2nd shift: 3pm-11pm

                   Starting Pay rate:$18-$20 depending on experience 

Job Duties:

• Follow order specifications/special instructions and ensure all production materials are at cutter prior to set-up
• This position specializes in the operation of Zund CAD Table and Large Guillotine Cutters
• Set up and operate cutting machine with high proficiency
• Operate assigned cutter by performing required adjustments, maintenance, and maintaining 
consistent quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment 
• Verify dimensions of cut parts match work order
• Identify poor quality material and notify supervisor and/or Quality Control 
• Measure to ensure specified dimensions of sheets
• Observe operation of machine to detect malfunctions such as jamming wrinkling or tearing of 
material
• Stop machine to make required adjustments, when necessary
• Replace worn cutting blades
• Record and report all finished production. Complete and process all related documentation 
via PC or tablet
• Record maintenance and service calls in maintenance logbook as required
• Train, assist, and support other team members in problem solving.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group.
• Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective action 
• Inspect finished product before releasing to internal or external customers

Work Requirements
• Organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
• Must possess good problem solving skills
• Willingness to work as team member or independently
• Able to continuously stand, stoop, and bend
• Proficient in basic math calculation
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Learn and demonstrate basic PC skills reporting production
• Understand how to setup cutting software
• Must have good vision including ability to review color
• Read and follow work orders and production schedules
• Able to work with management to achieve company goals
• Accept direction from supervisors, management and peers 
• Work together with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
• Lift 50 lbs
