- Pay Rate: $18.80 per hour
- Location: Rhode Island USA 2916
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Employment Type: 3 month-contract
What’s a typical day as a General Utility Associate? You will:
- Work closely with plant staff to maintain a safe work environment.
- Start and operate mixers/production line equipment.
- Move production line output to pallets for Work-In-Progress or finished goods.
- Accurately track inventory produced during your shift.
- Monitor and record actual downtime and causes.
- Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product type.
- Build pallets to keep up with production output.
- Load and unload trucks, staging products in the correct location.
- Inspect products periodically for quality—visually or with appropriate tools.
- Keep the work area clean following the 6S process.
- Complete paperwork and assist with quality checks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- A High School Diploma or GED (preferred, but not required).
- General work experience in manufacturing or a similar environment (preferred).
- The ability to work safely, show energy, and collaborate as a team player.
- Good listening skills and self-awareness on the production floor.
