Why you should apply to be a General Utility Associate:

  • Pay Rate: $18.80 per hour

  • Location: Rhode Island USA 2916

  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Employment Type: 3 month-contract

What’s a typical day as a General Utility Associate? You will:

  • Work closely with plant staff to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Start and operate mixers/production line equipment.

  • Move production line output to pallets for Work-In-Progress or finished goods.

  • Accurately track inventory produced during your shift.

  • Monitor and record actual downtime and causes.

  • Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product type.

  • Build pallets to keep up with production output.

  • Load and unload trucks, staging products in the correct location.

  • Inspect products periodically for quality—visually or with appropriate tools.

  • Keep the work area clean following the 6S process.

  • Complete paperwork and assist with quality checks as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED (preferred, but not required).

  • General work experience in manufacturing or a similar environment (preferred).

  • The ability to work safely, show energy, and collaborate as a team player.

  • Good listening skills and self-awareness on the production floor.
