What’s a typical day as Assembly Worker? You’ll be:
- Following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders to safely assemble equipment
- Assembling parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics using a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools
- Installing accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights
- Operating an overhead crane to position parts and using hand and pneumatic tools accurately
- Measuring components, drilling and tapping holes, and identifying options from schematics and blueprints
- Lifting and stacking subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; up to 60 lbs with a team lift)
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 6S and safety standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have experience using hand and power tools, and can accurately measure and assemble components
- Are able to lift up to 35 lbs individually and up to 60 lbs with assistance
- Can read and follow schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions
- Possess strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Are willing to cross-train and work in different assembly areas as needed
- Can follow both written and verbal instructions precisely
