I would like to present Product Development Laboratory Technician III for a growing company located in Thomaston, CT.
Pay: $30-35/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire
As a Product Development Laboratory Technician III, you will lead end-to-end specialty testing for our major customers. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of a request from initial setup and testing to data analysis and direct communication of results to the client.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Perform hands-on evaluation of dispensing products using laboratory equipment, following both internal and customer-specific protocols.
- Utilize MS Office (Excel/Word) to analyze data, summarize findings, and present professional test reports.
- Independently manage priorities and deadlines, including expediting urgent requests with short lead times.
- Interpret product component drawings and apply them to pump testing and performance evaluation.
- Source and manage test materials (glass, caps, fragrances, and bulk) from various global suppliers and laboratories.
- Act as a direct point of contact for customers to define testing requirements and manage project timelines.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of product testing experience within an industry setting.
- Strong communication skills, attentive to detail, and have strong time management and organizational skills.
