Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $28/hr

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm; Weekend work as needed

What’s a typical day as a Test Technician? You’ll be:

  • Supporting acceptance testing functions for production and development/prototype products

  • Applying problem-solving skills to proactively identify solutions to technical challenges

  • Fault-isolating issues and assisting in resolving problems between test environments and devices under test

  • Observing, analyzing, and reporting test data to determine pass/fail conditions

  • Selecting and setting up appropriate test equipment based on specifications

  • Utilizing hand tools, torque tools, analyzers, and power tools in a manufacturing environment

  • Working directly with engineering on production support and troubleshooting activities

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have an AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training OR a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • Are experienced in using Microsoft Excel, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs

  • Can perform product testing using procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions with limited supervision

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of testing experience (preferred), or STEM education as a substitute

  • Are comfortable using oscilloscopes, pulse generators, programmable network analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, and other test equipment (preferred)

  • Have hands-on technical experience in manufacturing, assembly, aviation, or naval environments (preferred)

  • Are able to stand or sit for extended periods, frequently use hands for handling tools and equipment, lift up to 25 pounds, and visually inspect components and test results
