Schedule: Monday to Friday; Start times flexible between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM (fixed after selection)

What’s a typical day as a Senior Cash Application Specialist?
You will:
- Process and post high volumes of B2B customer payments (ACH, wire, lockbox, checks) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct end-to-end AR operations, including researching unapplied cash, resolving short payments, deductions, and payment discrepancies.
- Analyze large datasets using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) to reconcile accounts, identify trends, and solve payment issues.
- Collaborate with Credit, Collections, Customer Service, and Sales to investigate payment issues and maintain accurate customer balances.
- Mentor junior specialists and provide training within the team.
- Lead and participate in process improvement and automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, including SOX requirements and company policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for management.
- Support audits and participate in system upgrades and implementation projects related to cash application.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years’ cash application experience with high volume, high profile business accounts.
- Advanced knowledge of cash application and AR operations.
- Expert skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools).
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics AX, Great Plains) and customer portals (Ariba, Coupa).
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- A detail-oriented, team-player mindset with strong energy and initiative.
