Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$22.65 per hour

Shift:

Shift: 6:00pm to 6:30am, 12 hour shift

What’s a typical day as Production Associate? You’ll be:

  • Performing in-process inspections and quality checks for product defects to ensure compliance with specifications, SOPs, GMPs, and departmental safety standards

  • Cleaning machines and equipment according to department procedures

  • Completing all necessary steps for proper packaging and labeling of products using automatic packing equipment

  • Operating laundry equipment to wash and dry clothing, and rotating to any production cell as Operator I when needed

  • Assisting with material handling tasks, including moving freezer and pasteurization carts and operating lift equipment

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout your shift

  • Adhering to mandatory overtime requirements and department attendance policies

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Possess basic mathematical skills and the ability to work independently

  • Are able to visually detect product defects and troubleshoot label dispensing equipment

  • Have strong communication and documentation skills

  • Are comfortable working in environments with room temperatures between 50° to 70°F, hot surfaces, wet conditions, chemicals, and drug compounds

  • Are not allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin drugs

  • Can lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 30 pounds as needed

  • Have experience in a GMP manufacturing environment (preferred)

  • Can read, write, speak, and understand English to comply with training and safety requirements
