Job details

The machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining fabrication equipment to produce high-quality aluminum parts. This role ensures production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards.

Pay Rate: $23-25 or above based on experience
Shift differentials (10% for 2nd shift, 15% for 3rd Shift) 

  • 1st Shift: 7am-3pm (Monday-Friday                                           

  • 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm (Monday-Friday) or 3pm-1am (Mon-Thurs)

  • 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate fabrication machinery, including saws, presses, benders, and CNC equipment.

  • Load and unload materials and parts onto machines.

  • Monitor machine operation and promptly report any issues to the supervisor.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

  • Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.

  • Document production data and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or fabrication preferred.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing floor.

  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and aluminum materials.

  • Required use of safety equipment and strict adherence to safety procedures.
