Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate who will carry out paint tinting and order filling tasks to support our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all laws and regulations
- Adhere strictly to quality management, company policies, and procedures
- Proper use and maintenance of technology and equipment
- Efficiently use mixing equipment and scales
- Report any production deviations to supervisors
- Complete daily assignments on time
- Maintain effective communication within your team
- Use internal computer programs (e.g., SAP)
- Support Lean Management/5S initiatives
- Observe and report all health and safety issues or improvement opportunities
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area
- Perform additional duties as required by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must complete hazardous waste training within 6 months of employment, with annual recertification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with SAP
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely
- Regular, punctual attendance required
- Frequent walking, standing, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals; must be able to wear a respirator and pass annual respirator fit testing
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Must understand instructions as provided by supervisors
