Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24.31 per hour
Shift: C Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, alternating Wednesdays, 5:40am – 6:00pm
Assignment Type: Temp to hire opportunity

What’s a typical day as Winder Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating winders and packaging equipment efficiently on two production lines

  • Upholding the highest safety and environmental standards and following all plant rules

  • Performing quality checks, managing scrap and rework, and ensuring proper labeling of products

  • Supporting team members with training, troubleshooting, and process changes

  • Logging production data using plant computer systems and participating in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities

  • Conducting equipment inspections, participating in safety, and housekeeping programs, and responding to alarms or production issues promptly

  • Maintaining open communication with team members to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED

  • Have previous manufacturing or process-related experience (preferred)

  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment

  • Work well independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision

  • Are comfortable with data entry and basic computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SAP, and pallet labeling systems

  • Are able to work 12-hour shifts (with breaks) in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes, noise, dust, and physical activity (lifting up to 40 lbs)

  • Can communicate effectively in English and have basic mathematics skills

  • Can follow standard operating and safety procedures, and are willing to support co-workers’ development
