Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am–2:30pm)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr


Job Overview

The Temporary Assembly Operator I (Water Spider) supports the assembly process by efficiently assembling, testing, etching, and moving components within the facility. This entry-level position follows standardized work instructions and manufacturing drawings to ensure high product quality and operational efficiency. The role requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a continuous improvement mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electronic and mechanical components following standardized work instructions, top-level, and sub-level drawings.

  • Operate etching equipment and perform packing, transfer, and movement of parts across the facility.

  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Operation Method Sheets (OMS).

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace, adhering to 5S standards throughout the shift.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and quality in all duties.

  • Follow all directions, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.

  • Support varied and semi-routine tasks, adapting to shifting priorities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and read assembly drawings and SOPs.

  • Physical ability to stand for most of the shift and lift/move up to 15 pounds unassisted (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance).

  • Willingness to adhere to safety, cleanliness, and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Entry-level position; previous experience preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

  • Regular use of hands for handling, moving, and assembling parts.

  • Frequent standing; occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

  • Close vision required for detailed assembly work.
