Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule Options:

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repair of facility systems and production equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fabrication disciplines, along with the ability to work independently and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose, and repair production equipment including vacuum coating systems, spray coating equipment, and process ovens

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment downtime in collaboration with the maintenance team

Repair and fabricate tooling fixtures to support manufacturing operations

Design and implement custom equipment solutions with internal teams and external vendors

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems

Support building and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Evaluate equipment performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain accurate records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

Communicate effectively with production teams regarding work orders, issues, and project updates

Follow and enforce all OSHA and facility safety standards, including participation in safety audits
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 5+ years of maintenance or mechanical experience
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English

Experience working in regulated environments (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, ITAR) preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills
Technical Skills & Competencies

Welding & Fabrication: Ability to repair and build custom fixtures and components

Electrical Systems: Basic troubleshooting and repair knowledge

Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues

CMMS Systems: Experience tracking maintenance and work orders

Mechanical Systems: Knowledge of pumps, motors, and industrial equipment

Commitment to safety, training compliance, and operational excellence

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (clean and climate-controlled)
