Kelly Services is seeking a Talented Material Handler for an electrical supply company located in Orlando, FL 32811.

Material Handler 

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Temp-to-Perm

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or other divisions

  • Load/unload common carrier and company vehicles

  • Assemble customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL

  • Process paperwork regarding shipments (verify merchandise, apply correct postage, complete BOL for LTL shipments, follow customer shipping instructions, insure shipments as necessary)

  • Gather, verify, and count assembled orders; write totals on invoices

  • Pack orders and arrange containers for shipment

  • Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed

  • Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) and use warehouse management systems/scanners

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

  • Team player mindset

  • 2+ years experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts (preferred; training/certification provided)

  • 3+ years pulling/packing/shipping experience

  • Coachable and eager to learn

  • Positive, professional, and reliable attitude

  • Temp-to-perm availability

  • Steel-toed boots required

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of electrical products is a plus

  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

  • Excellent attendance record required

  • Capable of overtime as needed

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

Physical & Safety Requirements:

  • Must wear steel-toed boots at all times

  • Manual material handling and use of powered industrial trucks (stand-up and sit-down forklifts)
