Pay Range: Starting at $18/hour (higher for experienced candidates)
Position Type: Full-Time


Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM


  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM


  • 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 11:45 PM – 8:00 AM

No shift differential at this time.


Position Overview

We are seeking motivated Machine Operators / Extrusion Technicians to support our commercial and medical manufacturing operations. In this role, you will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain extrusion equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO13485 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust extrusion and manufacturing equipment across multiple processes


  • Troubleshoot machinery issues and ensure efficient production performance


  • Perform in-process quality inspections and identify defects


  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, vision systems, laser micrometers)


  • Complete production documentation in compliance with GMP and ISO13485 standards


  • Monitor raw material usage and track production throughout manufacturing runs


  • Perform machine cleanouts, changeovers, and equipment resets


  • Handle raw material mixing/blending and finished goods packaging


  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment


  • Work independently while meeting quality and production targets


  • Train and mentor team members as needed


  • Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required (Technical High School or Associate’s degree preferred)


  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent hands-on experience


  • Experience in regulated environments (ISO9001, ISO13485, or similar) preferred


  • Extrusion experience (melt extrusion) strongly preferred


  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills


  • Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments


  • Basic math skills (including decimals, fractions, and measurements)


  • Strong communication and teamwork skills


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with medical device manufacturing


  • Familiarity with complex extrusions (multi-lumen, multi-layer, bump tubing)


  • Experience with process improvement and quality systems


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (frequent lifting under 20 lbs)


  • Ability to stand for extended periods


  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
