Quality Control Inspector (2 Openings)

Company: Leading cables and wires manufacturer
Location: Norwood, MA
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00/hour (higher for experienced candidates in cable & wire industry)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire


Position Overview

We are seeking two detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors to join our team in Norwood, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting wires and cables to ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with a strong eye for detail, manufacturing experience, and a commitment to quality. Candidates with prior experience in the cable and wire industry are highly encouraged to apply and may be considered for higher pay.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of wires and cables


  • Verify products meet quality standards, specifications, and tolerances


  • Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials


  • Use basic measuring tools and inspection equipment as needed


  • Maintain accurate inspection records and reports


  • Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production teams


  • Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality protocols


  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the production process


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred


  • Experience in the cable and wire industry is a strong plus (higher pay available)


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects


  • Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measurement techniques


  • Ability to follow written instructions and specifications


  • Good communication and teamwork skills


  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
