Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Facilities Technician to work at a Premier Manufacturing Client in Boulder, CO. Sound like something you’re interested in? Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $30.38 per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday, first shift (approx. 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM MST), 40 hours/week, on-call rotation as needed.

What’s a typical day as Facilities Technician? You’ll be:

  • Serving as the primary contact for facility-related issues, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination

  • Communicating daily with lab science staff and facilities team to ensure efficient operations

  • Overseeing lab material deliveries, shipping, and receiving of laboratory and office items

  • Managing lab gases, waste disposal, and supporting lab/facilities clean-up activities

  • Responding to equipment alarms during off hours and participating in on-call rotation coverage

  • Monitoring BAS and Alarm systems campus-wide, conducting building maintenance walks, and submitting work requests

  • Coordinating maintenance of systems and mechanical equipment under vendor contracts, under direction of Facilities Managers

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders for departmental maintenance coordination

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance vendor oversight

  • Are skilled in MEP troubleshooting and familiar with BMS/CMMS programs

  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail

  • Can comply with laboratory safety guidelines and work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

  • Are proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel

  • Have strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills

  • Are able to climb ladders, use hand/power tools, sit/stand/crouch for periods, and lift up to 60 lbs

  • Experience working around active science lab environments is a plus

  • Can obtain DOT/IATA training and Wastewater Treatment I certification if required
