Senior HR Generalist

Location: New Market, VA (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Duration: 6–8 Month Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire)
Compensation: Flexible Based on Experience
Start Date: ASAP

We’re partnering with a leading global manufacturing organization to hire a Senior HR Generalist to support operations at their plant in New Market, VA. This is a hands-on, plant-level HR role supporting both employees and leadership onsite, with a major focus on end-to-end recruiting as the team continues to expand headcount.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for onsite managers and employees


  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to support site growth


  • Partner with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals


  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, and talent development


  • Handle employee relations matters including coaching, investigations, and conflict resolution


  • Support onboarding, training compliance, and employee recognition programs


  • Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leaves, and performance processes


  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience (manufacturing environment preferred)


  • Strong experience in employee relations and workplace investigations


  • Proven background in full-cycle recruiting


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a plant setting


  • Experience partnering with leadership and coaching frontline managers


  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors preferred)


  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
