Kelly services is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for a busy warehouse located in West Jacksonville, FL 32219
The Shipping and Receiving Associate will ensure our orders reach customers accurately and on time. This role is perfect for individuals eager to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with carriers and supporting smooth warehouse operations.
Pay Rate: 15.00 an hour
Schedule- Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
Accurately pick, pack, and label items for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
Track stock levels and record shipping orders using scanners and computer systems.
Securely package items, generate shipping labels, and prepare required documentation.
Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials; load outgoing shipments manually or with equipment.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
Coordinate with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers for efficient pickups and deliveries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; promptly report any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong attention to detail for precise order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in inventory management systems, scanners, and basic data entry.
Forklift and reach truck or relevant experience is preferred.
Effective teamwork skills to collaborate in a busy warehouse environment.
Commitment to following safety procedures and using PPE.
