EHS Administrator 

This role provides a blend of Health & Safety (primary) and Environmental compliance (secondary) support within a manufacturing environment. Working closely with EHS and HR, the Administrator ensures regulatory adherence and operational efficiency.
 

  • Location: Worcester, MA 01606 

  • Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 1st Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm

  • Pay rate: 23$-25$ per hour

  • Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month duration (temp to hire)

 


Core Focus & Compliance

  • Regulatory Scope: You will help maintain standards for OSHA and EPA, while assisting with ISO (14001/45001) management.


  • Documentation: A major portion of the role involves maintaining safety records, managing databases, and assisting in the authoring or updating of SOPs, safety manuals, and policy documents.


  • Incident Management: While you won’t lead investigations, you will be responsible for documenting incidents and tracking corrective actions. There are also opportunities to shadow the investigation process for professional growth.

Experience & Certifications

  • Experience Level: Ideally 1–2 years of experience, though it is not strictly required for the right candidate.


  • Professional Development: While certifications like OSHA 30, CHMM, ASP, or CSP are preferred, they are not mandatory. The company is willing to train and certify the right individual on the job.
     

    Key Functional Responsibilities


  • Risk & Data Management: Perform data entry for Safety and Toxic Risk Assessments.


  • Occupational Health: Coordinate employee medical appointments, including hearing tests and surveillance physicals.


  • Training Coordination: Identify and manage facility training gaps to ensure the workforce remains compliant and skilled.


  • Operational Support: Handle diverse administrative tasks ranging from event planning and filing to managing site inventory.
