Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Portland, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, (flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM) 6–8 hours/day
Hourly Pay: $22/hour
Work Environment: Fully onsite to start. Opportunity for hybrid schedule after training
Duration: Approximately 3 month assignment, with potential extension based on departmental needs
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a temporary documentation project. The primary responsibility of this role is to access, review, and transfer digital documents between systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, navigating multiple computer applications, and maintaining accuracy while handling sensitive information.

Access, review, and process required documentation and forms

Digitally transfer and organize stored documents across internal systems

Work within systems such as Encompass JJ Keller and ADP Workforce Now

Use applications including Excel, Adobe, Word, and various image file formats (.jpg)

Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and strong attention to detail throughout all tasks

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong computer proficiency, including:

Ability to work with .jpg files

Ability to quickly learn new systems or portals is a plus

Prior administrative or document-handling experience preferred
