Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Cleveland, University Circle Area
Pay: $16.97/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Our client is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for a temporary to potential hire opportunity. Your organizational skills and customer service expertise will play a key role in helping future dental professionals and their patients every day!
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule, coordinate, and confirm patient appointments for dental students and graduate programs
- Manage cancellations and fill open time slots to keep schedules on track
- Support students and staff with paperwork, clinical protocols, and day-to-day needs
- Respond to phone calls and emails, arrange emergency appointments, and coordinate with specialty clinics
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health systems while ensuring confidentiality
- Provide hands-on support to hygienists, new students, and all members of the dental team
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have 1 to 1.5 years of experience (dental office, medical offiice or dental education)
- High school diploma required
- Strong computer and communication skills; Excel/database experience preferred
- Patient scheduling experience is a big plus
- Ability to work respectfully with people of all backgrounds and abilities
- Familiarity with dental terminology is a bonus!
