Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II / III – Sterile Injection

Company: Kelly Services

Location: Morrisville, NC

Pay: $25 – $35/hr DOE

Shift: Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm OR 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am (Some OT/Flex Required)

Training: Monday-Friday, 1st shift for 4-5 weeks

About the Role:

Kelly Services is seeking highly motivated Manufacturing Technicians II & III to join a growing sterile injection manufacturing team. In this fast-paced, highly regulated environment, you will assist with compounding, filling, and finishing sterile injectable products in vial and syringe configurations for clinical and commercial distribution.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, technical proficiency, and adherence to cGMP standards are critical. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, flexible, and eager to grow their career in sterile manufacturing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute advanced production tasks in compounding, aseptic filling (isolators), stoppering, capping, and visual inspection.

  • Perform in-process sampling, weight checks, component counting, and basic calculations.

  • Maintain accurate batch records and documentation per GMP and SOPs.

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain sterile manufacturing equipment.

  • Follow strict aseptic techniques and PPE requirements.

  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and escalate deviations as needed.

  • Support cross-training in multiple sterile manufacturing processes.

  • Participate in occasional overtime or weekend work as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2+ years relevant experience for Level II; 3-5 years for Level III preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in sterile manufacturing, aseptic filling, or visual inspection highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and SOPs.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Flexible with shifts and able to work overtime as needed.

 

Career Growth:

Technicians may advance to higher levels (Tech III, Lead Tech, Senior Lead) as experience and proficiency increase. Cross-training and skill development are encouraged to support upward career progression.
