Job Title: Production Operator II
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Day Shift: Wednesday–Sunday, 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Operator II to join our team. This role ensures the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment, conducts in-process quality checks, and keeps accurate records to support efficient production from raw materials to finished goods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment to manufacture finished goods from raw materials according to specified processes and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of inventory, materials in process, and production data or data sheets.

  • Perform routine in-process tests (e.g., hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content) to ensure production meets required specifications.

  • Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions and product issues to achieve optimal production output.

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, subassembly layouts, and work instructions to ensure assembly accuracy.

  • Monitor and update running accounts of orders received, work completed, and inventory status.

  • Coordinate with materials planning, production, and maintenance teams to prepare and monitor master schedules and inventory levels.

  • Requisition materials and verify delivery timelines to prevent production delays.

  • Adjust workload distribution and equipment capacity according to inventory and order requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment; vocational training preferred.

  • Basic understanding of production processes, inventory control, and quality systems.

  • Ability to recognize when deviation from established procedures is necessary and act accordingly.

  • Competence in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and effective communication.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work a varied, semi-routine set of tasks with minimal supervision.
