Purchasing Analyst

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to support procurement operations for a leading manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong analytical skills who enjoys improving processes and working cross-functionally.

Position Details

  • Location: Shippensburg, PA (Onsite)

  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Duration: Contract role (6 months)

  • Pay Rate: $50 per hour

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve purchasing processes, systems, and reporting tools

  • Support development of dashboards and reporting (Power BI preferred)

  • Collect and evaluate technical, financial, and legal data for contracts and bids

  • Partner with internal teams including finance, legal, and operations

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Maintain accurate documentation and purchasing records

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

 


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
