Purchasing Analyst
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to support procurement operations for a leading manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong analytical skills who enjoys improving processes and working cross-functionally.
Position Details
- Location: Shippensburg, PA (Onsite)
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Duration: Contract role (6 months)
- Pay Rate: $50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve purchasing processes, systems, and reporting tools
- Support development of dashboards and reporting (Power BI preferred)
- Collect and evaluate technical, financial, and legal data for contracts and bids
- Partner with internal teams including finance, legal, and operations
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and purchasing records
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
