Job Title: Injection Molding Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Primarily Day Shift; flexibility for alternate shifts as needed)

About the Role

Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician to support a dynamic injection molding operation in Alpharetta, GA. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in plastics processing and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute molding programs supporting R&I, PR&ET, and commercial production needs


  • Operate injection molding machines and auxiliary process equipment


  • Monitor molding processes and make minor adjustments as needed


  • Maintain accurate process documentation and submit samples for testing


  • Coordinate product shipments and ensure timely delivery


  • Clean and maintain molding equipment according to SOPs


  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in audits, meetings, and training


  • Collaborate closely with supervisors to support efficient operations


  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required


  • Associate’s Degree or technical certification preferred


  • 2–5+ years of experience in plastics processing and maintenance

    • OR 2+ years of experience with a related degree/certification



  • Experience with injection molding equipment is a plus


  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills


  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel


  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs regularly


  • Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator


  • Ability to operate a forklift

Additional Details

  • Overtime (40+ hours/week) and occasional alternate shifts may be required


  • Occasional overnight travel may be required


  • No relocation assistance provided
