What’s a typical day as a Rework Technician? You will:
- Support manufacturing in the removal, replacement, and reflow of BGA components.
- Visually analyze x-ray images to identify circuit shorts or insufficient solder.
- Ensure quality of work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and enhance efficiency through the CIQ system.
- Complete daily logs and necessary paperwork accurately.
- Properly handle and mark assemblies throughout the repair process.
- Follow repair techniques for all repairs conducted.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations as directed by your supervisor.
- Comply with all procedures outlined in the company security policy.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Proficient in writing simple correspondence.
- Capability to read and understand visual aids.
- Competent in calculating the quantity of parts needed for prep at any given time.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10’s and 100’s.
- Strong common sense understanding to execute simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
