What’s a typical day as a Rework Technician? You will:

  • Support manufacturing in the removal, replacement, and reflow of BGA components.

  • Visually analyze x-ray images to identify circuit shorts or insufficient solder.

  • Ensure quality of work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and enhance efficiency through the CIQ system.

  • Complete daily logs and necessary paperwork accurately.

  • Properly handle and mark assemblies throughout the repair process.

  • Follow repair techniques for all repairs conducted.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations as directed by your supervisor.

  • Comply with all procedures outlined in the company security policy.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
     

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Proficient in writing simple correspondence.

  • Capability to read and understand visual aids.

  • Competent in calculating the quantity of parts needed for prep at any given time.

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10’s and 100’s.

  • Strong common sense understanding to execute simple one- or two-step instructions.

  • Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
