CNC Laser / Turret Press Machine Operator – Direct Hire (2nd Shift)
Hours: 3:00pm to 11:30pm M-F 
** Must train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks **
Pay: $23-24 per hour + shift differential 
Location: Youngstown, OH!

KELLY is seeking an experienced CNC Laser / Turret Press Machine Operator for a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of custom metal and plastic retail displays, fixtures, and protective matting serving retail, healthcare, and pharmacy industries.

 


Position Overview

This role is responsible for operating CNC laser/turret press combination equipment to produce high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate brings strong fabrication experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Amada EMLK 3610 NT CNC Laser/Turret combination press

  • Maintain tooling libraries and ensure equipment readiness for daily production

  • Load and unload materials and finished products safely and efficiently

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Production Planning on work orders and scheduling

  • Verify part quality and ensure conformance to engineering specifications

  • Assist with other fabrication equipment (press brakes, rolls, shears, drill presses, spot welders)

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of metal fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent)

  • Experience with CNC punch/laser combination machines (Amada, Trumpf, or similar preferred)

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to train on 1st shift and work overtime as needed

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Welding experience is a plus
