Transportation Accounts Support Specialist
Etobicoke, ON
3–4 Month Contract | Potential for Extension
Fully onsite Monday–Friday | Full-Time Hours
Our client is seeking a Transportation Accounts Support Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This role will focus on reviewing and processing transportation invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, and helping resolve a backlog of outstanding invoices.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience who enjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting finance operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate transportation and freight invoices for accuracy
- Identify potential overcharges or discrepancies and assist with resolving them
- Process verified invoices for payment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Use Excel (filters, pivot tables) to review and organize invoice data
- Work with internal teams to clarify invoice details when needed
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters and basic pivot tables)
- Experience reviewing invoices and resolving discrepancies
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
