DIRECT HIRE PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR 
Hours: 2nd shift 3pm – 11:30pm 
Pay: $23-24 per hour + shift differential 
Location: Ravenna, OH

KELLY is seeking PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS for DIRECT HIRE opportunities on behalf of a manufacturer of custom metal and plastic retail displays, fixtures, and protective matting for retailers, hospitals, and pharmacies.

This position is responsible for bending and forming metal parts using a hydraulic press brake, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, experience with measuring tools, and the ability to make accurate adjustments to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate hydraulic press brake to bend and form metal parts according to production requirements

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

  • Use calipers and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances

  • Make necessary adjustments to press brake settings to maintain product accuracy and quality

  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

  • Follow established procedures to meet production timelines and safety protocols

  • Maintain equipment in clean and proper working condition


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Prior experience operating a hydraulic press brake in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings

  • Ability to use calipers and other precision measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to make machine adjustments to meet specifications

  • Understanding of safety protocols in a fabrication environment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
