Pay Rate: $80-95K
Schedule: 1st Shift, 6 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday
OT: Saturdays
What’s a typical day as Assistant Production Manager? You’ll be:

Supporting daily manufacturing operations across assigned production areas, lines, and/or shifts

Assisting in executing production schedules to meet customer demand and cost targets

Supervising and supporting Production Supervisors and front-line employees, including staffing, training, and performance management
-
Ensuring compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, internal Quality Management System requirements, and company policies
-
Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture and EHS compliance
-
Driving operational discipline through standard work, tiered accountability meetings, and visual management
-
Supporting structured problem solving and root cause analysis for quality issues, downtime, and production disruptions

Partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize process improvements, materials alignment, and production schedules
-
Leading Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), process transfers, line expansions, and production ramp-up activities

Ensuring production documentation, work instructions, and training records are current and followed

Monitoring operational KPIs, escalating issues, and supporting corrective actions as needed

Assisting with workforce planning, shift coverage, audits, and internal reviews
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field (Required)

Bring 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated medical device environment (Required)

Possess 4+ years of experience supervising or leading production teams (Required)

Have experience supporting complex component manufacturing, such as braided catheter, extrusion, or precision assembly operations (Preferred)

Are knowledgeable of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and Lean principles (Required)

Demonstrate strong hands-on leadership, communication, and people development skills (Required)
