Kelly Services is hiring an MRP Controller / Operational Buyer in Farmington, CT!

If you have experience with MRP, production planning, or ERP systems, this role puts you at the center of manufacturing operations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring materials are planned, ordered, and delivered on time to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative team working closely with production, logistics, and suppliers, where organization, communication, and process-driven work are key to success and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage MRP planning activities within SAP or an ERP system to support production demand

  • Release planned orders and convert them into production orders

  • Reschedule machine assembly and sub-assembly orders based on delivery timelines

  • Align material flow to support production schedules and prevent delays

  • Reassign materials as needed to meet changing production priorities

  • Monitor and resolve material shortages to minimize production impact

  • Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers

  • Track and manage supplier order confirmations and delivery schedules

  • Partner with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material movement

  • Investigate and resolve inventory and material movement discrepancies

  • Ensure all production orders are accurate, updated, and properly closed in the system

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in MRP, production planning, or buyer support within manufacturing

  • Experience working in SAP preferred (open to other ERP systems)

  • Strong understanding of work orders, material flow, and production environments

  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

  • Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams and vendors

  • Process-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working within systems and data

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time

  • $26.00–$30.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay

  • Long Term Temp | Fully Onsite
