Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.00 per hour

What’s a typical day as Field Service Technician? You’ll be:

  • Operating, monitoring, and optimizing equipment performance for water treatment systems.

  • Conducting maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment.

  • Performing analytical bench top testing and collecting water/process samples.

  • Managing chemicals, including forklift operations and chemical transfers.

  • Monitoring and maintaining chemical injection systems.

  • Maintaining inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacements.

  • Creating and maintaining site paperwork, and providing detailed technical summaries to customers.

  • Conducting mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment (valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, instrumentation).

  • Consulting with customer management and operations teams to ensure contract compliance.

  • Carrying out other duties as required.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent (required).

  • Possess 2+ years of service/maintenance experience in an industrial environment or equivalent.

  • Hold a valid driver’s license.

  • Demonstrate strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

  • Are able to work independently and remotely with project teams.

  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Can meet all customer site requirements.

  • Are able to travel within the region as needed.

  • (Preferred) Hold an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering, or a technical certificate in Instrumentation.

  • (Preferred) Have experience in water treatment equipment maintenance.
