Job Title: Inventory Forklift Operator 

Start Time: 8:00 am
End Time: 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr 
Steel Toed Boots Required: Yes
Operate Forklift or PIT Equipment: Yes (Sit down Forklift / Reach Truck)
 


Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or other divisions.

  • Load/unload common carrier and company vehicles (excluding driving).

  • Process shipping paperwork (ensure accuracy of merchandise, apply postage, complete BOL for LTL shipments, follow shipping instructions, insure shipment when required).

  • Use warehouse management system and scanner for picking orders and general put-away of material.

  • Gather, verify, and count assembled orders; pack them and organize according to truck route.

  • Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience operating sit down forklift and reach trucks.

  • Experience with inventory management and stock control.

  • Driven, self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Able to meet deadlines and demonstrate excellent attendance.

  • Willing to work overtime as necessary.

  • General knowledge of electrical products is preferred.

  • Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing.

  • Effective communicator with co-workers to satisfy customer requirements.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.

Additional Information

  • Candidates with any driving responsibilities (personal or business) during the assignment will not be considered.

  • Must provide and wear steel toed work boots.
