What’s a typical day as a CNC Technician I? You’ll be:

  • Setting up and operating automated/CNC machines to fabricate parts


  • Working from blueprints, models, and engineering documentation to ensure accurate production


  • Removing, replacing, and adjusting cutting tools and offsets as needed


  • Inspecting materials and finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications


  • Identifying appropriate materials and tooling for machining operations


  • Monitoring material supply and ensuring availability for production


  • Performing preventative maintenance and minor machine repairs</strong>; escalating major issues when needed


  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with 5S and EHS standards


  • Supporting production goals and performing additional duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Interest or experience in CNC machining or automated manufacturing environments


  • Basic understanding of shop math, tools, and mechanical processes


  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents (preferred)


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety


  • Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment

  • Location: Savannah, GA 31408


  • Shift: 1st Shift (4:15 AM – 2:45 PM)


  • Employment Type: 12-month contract
