Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Fiber Optics ( Very Small) 
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: Quality Control Supervisor/Manager

Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector Fiber Optics ( Very Small ) is responsible for inspecting product, materials, and articles to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. The position identifies and documents non-conformances, reports discrepancies, and collaborates with relevant personnel to maintain product integrity and support continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accept or reject products, materials, or articles based on defined criteria.

  • Identify and document non-conformances to engineering specifications and standards; notify appropriate personnel for further action.

  • Report discrepancies to supervision and management promptly.

  • Document inspection results for multiple product lines through detailed reports and logs.

  • Perform various mathematical functions, including weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.

  • Maintain and ensure measurement equipment is clean, calibrated, and operating accurately.

  • Perform visual inspection, continuity, and resistance testing on cables, harnesses, and connectors.

  • Measure machined products using comparators, calipers, micrometers, visual measurement devices, pin gauges, and other tools.

  • Adhere to safety and environmental standards and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.

  • Track and record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.

  • Accurately record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into computer databases to comply with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred.

  • Familiarity with inspection equipment and testing methods.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
