Senior Director, Operations
We’re seeking a seasoned leader within the life sciences industry to be the Senior Director of Operations at a leading biotech company in South San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
-
Lead and optimize all operations to ensure efficiency, quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Build capabilities and allocate resources to support company growth and strategic goals.
-
Align operational activities with business needs through close partnership with Commercial and Finance.
-
Support product scale-up and improvement initiatives across teams.
-
Lead a high-performing team with clear accountability and disciplined budget management.
-
Provide transparent reporting to leadership on operational performance and risks.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in biology or related discipline and 15+ years of operations experience in biotech, life sciences, or a regulated manufacturing environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expert in managing operations across multiple functional teams with the ability to drive results in a fast-moving company.

Knowledgeable of quality systems and compliance requirements.

Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience leading operations within smaller companies and rolling out new products.
Compensation

Salary: $225 – 250K
