About the Role

We are hiring Dock Worker / Forklift Operators to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity (3 months) with strong potential for permanent placement for reliable, high-performing candidates.

This role combines forklift operation and hands-on dock work, so we are looking for individuals who are comfortable being both on and off the forklift throughout the shift.


Schedule

  • Monday–Friday


  • Start times: 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM


  • Full-time (40 hours/week)


  • Overtime as needed


Pay

  • $23.50/hour (training period)


  • $28+/hour upon permanent hire


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down forklift (Toyota / Mitsubishi equipment)


  • Load and unload freight from delivery trucks and dock areas


  • Scan and track incoming/outgoing shipments using RF scanners


  • Read and verify billing manifests and shipping documents


  • Accurately record product weights, dimensions, and shipment details (handwritten)


  • Move freight safely within the warehouse


  • Perform general dock work and physical labor as needed


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of sit-down forklift experience required


  • Experience with freight loading/unloading


  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents and manifests


  • Comfortable using RF scanners


  • Strong attention to detail and legible handwriting


  • Ability to perform physical work (lifting, moving freight, etc.)


  • Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic


Hiring Requirements

  • Must pass background check and drug screening (No THC)


  • Steel-toe boots required; no sweatpants (work pants/jeans required)


Interview Process

  • Onsite forklift test to evaluate skills
