Parts Administrator (Nights)
S. Burlington, Vermont
Shift: Sun – Wed 3:30pm to 1:30am
Pay starts at $22/hr +/- DOE
Benefits + Paid Time Off

The Parts Administrator performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stocking, kitting, expediting and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives, unpacks and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices and other records.

  • Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against PO order.

  • Processes receipts and delivery of material from suppliers to other areas of the facility.

  • Prepares materials for shipment, coordinates carrier pick-ups and accurately presents shipments to carriers with proper documentation.

  • Completes shipping documents for daily shipments.

  • Prepares identifying information and shipping instructions on packages.

  • Processes and maintains returned goods.

  • Issue received materials to jobs as required.

  • Processes and boxes parts for shipment.

  • Takes an active role to ensure Environmental Health and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.

  • Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace.

  • Audits work area for safety compliance.

  • Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary.

  • Must be willing to be trained on a forklift

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior shipping / receiving / warehouse / inventory experience.

  • Basic computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software programs.

  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to focus on task.
