Job Title: Experimental Procurement Specialist
Location: Horicon, WI (Onsite)
Assignment Length: 36 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour
Shift Information: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Work Environment: Fully onsite; hands-on management of experimental parts and direct collaboration with factory teams

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong purchasing background who thrive in a dynamic and hands-on manufacturing environment.

 

Position Overview:
As an Experimental Procurement Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for procuring experimental and prototype parts, managing relationships with suppliers, and supporting sourcing activities. You’ll coordinate with the factory to track, label, and stage inventory, and ensure efficient part flow for ongoing projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure experimental/prototype parts for manufacturing and engineering teams

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and sourcing options

  • Request, receive, and analyze quotes from suppliers

  • Issue purchase orders and track order progress through delivery

  • Communicate order status and resolve any issues with suppliers or internal teams

  • Collaborate with the factory to label, store, and stage incoming parts

  • Track and maintain experimental part inventory

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–3 years minimum (4–5 years preferred) procurement or purchasing experience

  • Experience in procurement, quote requests, and supplier/source identification/selection

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hands-on, shop floor environment

  • 100% onsite position in Horicon, WI
