Material Procurement Specialist
Cypress, California
Onsite: Mon – Fri, 8am-5pm
Pay starts at $27/hr +/- DOE
Benefits (medical, dental, vision) + Paid Holidays & Vacation
Job Overview – Performance of all tasks involved with Engine Material procurement and tracking:
- Track inventory
- Provide parts logistics support
- Evaluate inventory to determine excess and obsolete material based on material usage
- Coordinate with production to determine Sales Order Material requirement
- Prioritize and manage material deliveries to ensure on time delivery of sales orders
- Order Exchange Parts
- Ensure Engines meet Cycle 2 Clearance Date
- Handling phone and electronic communications with suppliers
- Ensure discrepancies relating to Purchase Orders / Invoices are resolved on a timely basis
- Documentum
- GRIR
- Open PO’s
- Work with PWC Spares
- Work with PWCS
- Generate non-product Purchase Orders
- Manage non-product Vendors
Qualifications:
- Prior shipping / receiving / warehouse / inventory experience.
- Basic computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software programs.
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to focus on task.
