Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing company, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor in Sandston, VA!

This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation package upon hire!

Details:

  • 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday

  • Pay: $85,000 – $92,000???????

  • Project and Production Management: Oversees all maintenance-related activities and ensures timely completion of projects and production schedules to meet customer demand.

  • Personnel Supervision and Support: Supervises maintenance staff and assists in troubleshooting filling and packaging equipment, including electromechanical components.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Supports maintenance staff with troubleshooting PLCs, operator interfaces, VFDs, servomotors, encoders, and basic electrical repairs.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Organizes and aligns preventative maintenance processes, diagnosing electrical discrepancies, and drafting operational procedures for electronic systems.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicates issues and solutions effectively, works as part of the production team, and interacts daily with multiple support departments.

  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyzes downtime and OEE data to implement improvements, manages preventative maintenance in SAP, and drives process improvements.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensures compliance with cGMP, PPG, FDA, OSHA, and EPA standards; maintains clean and orderly work areas, enforces LOTO and other safety procedures, and maintains validated equipment.

  • Resource Management: Confirms repair parts, manages materials and labor variance, ensures proper functioning of equipment and staff per standards.

  • Strategic Contributions: Supports factory goals, budget development, labor planning, and financial accountability; represents Production Manager as needed.

  • Talent Management: Participates in interviewing, hiring, and administering tests for maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisory role.

  • Experience in a food or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
