Work Schedule
- Full-time position
- 40–45 hours per week
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay range: $25–$40 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators / CNC Machinists to support the production of complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components across multiple manufacturing cells. This role is responsible for maintaining high productivity levels while ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards. Setup experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and other manufacturing machines to produce precision machined parts
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the production process
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and specifications
- Understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Plan and execute machining operations based on material and design requirements
- Inspect finished products to ensure conformance to specifications
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and depth gauges
- Maintain accurate production records
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–10+ years of CNC machining experience (up to 15 years preferred)
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
- Setup experience is a plus
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions)
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Process improvement mindset
