What’s a typical day as a Seasonings Renovation R&D Technician Support?

  • Preparation of samples for consumer testing & research following specific protocols

  • Reorganization of pallets to meet storage requirements and accommodate incoming deliveries

  • Reorganization of pallets to meet storage requirements and accommodate incoming deliveries

  •  Re-bagging and re-sealing of materials to support development activities

  • Coordination of shipping and logistics for shipments

  • Preparation of seasoned product for quality

  • Support shelf life testing programs including:

    • Labeling of internal samples

    • Daily testing

    • Set up and execution of sensory shelf life with specific protocols

    • Coordination of samples from storage samples

 
 
Qualifications:
·  Minimum Associate of Science (AS) Degree or equivalent in experience
·  Works well in a team setting
·  Good verbal and written communication skills required
·  Good organizational and time management skills
·  Attention to detail
·  Self-starter and results-driven
·  Fluent in English and computer skills, such as MS Word, Excel, and Power point
·  Available to work during regular working hours
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
 
Preferred Qualifications:
·  At least 1 year experience in a laboratory setting
·  Experience in foods or general Consumer Package Goods (CPG) or science/engineering industry
·  Prior lab experience and familiarity with bulk solids science
