Production Planner

We are entering an exciting growth phase focused on innovation, deeper commercial partnerships, and broader clinical adoption. Our expanded tri-omics capabilities now combine targeted gene expression and genotyping in a single assay, opening up new opportunities across oncology and therapeutic development.
 

Position Overview

The production planner will be responsible for demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling and distribution which includes management of the sales and operations planning process.  This role will support manufacturing, purchasing and logistics.

This position will report to the Director of Operations.

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan and implement the Master Resource Plan and Production Schedule with MFG, QC and Logistics

  • Maintain communication with customer service, procurement, manufacturing, QC, and shipping

  • Manage inventory levels for finished goods, raw materials, and biological reagents.

  • Understand the process of  procurement of materials and tracking purchase orders for timely deliveries

  • Create and maintain part numbers and BOMs in the ERP system

  • Review and maintain safety stock levels

  • Complete ERP-related tasks as necessary

  • Complete other purchasing and logistics tasks as necessary

Essential Skills, Education, and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree         

  • 4-6 years of planning and supply chain experience in Life Sciences

  • Working knowledge of  MRP/ERP software, especially NetSuite

  • In-depth knowledge of materials management regulations and procedures.

  • Experience with reagents and understanding shelf-life restricted products

  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets

  • Ability to work independently as a strong team player

  • Experience with ISO 9001 and GMP environment ( nice to have)

    • The role requires


  • Work Environment:

    • Work is performed primarily within a warehouse setting, which may not be temperature-controlled and can be subject to moderate noise levels.

    • Exposure to varying temperatures, including cold storage and freezer conditions, due to the handling of temperature-sensitive materials like dry ice shipments.

    • The role requires adherence to strict safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by company and OSHA standards.

    • May require working occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
